I wrote this poem at a time in my life when I was struggling with my self esteem. It is a rather angsty poem, and I have often times thought of adding a second verse, however a second verse has never presented itself to me, so it stays as is. It is interesting though, that at a time when I struggled with my self esteem I still pointed to the true source of confidence.
