Until heaven

Our time on earth is short

Our time together shorter still

Will we meet again?

That is in God’s will

Our paths have crossed this once

And how much fun it’s been

I’ll miss your smiling face

And hope to see it once again

There’s an invisible tie that binds us

It’s God that holds us close

And the worship, the praying together

That’s what I’ll miss the most

Soon we’ll go our separate ways

From this place we will depart

And all of our fun memories

I will hold close to my heart

And as we say goodbye now

Remember God is on our side

So let’s not put on fake smiles

Or keep our tears inside

But let’s cry tears of joy

And try not to be sad

But hold onto the laughter

And the fun times that we’ve had

But because of His great love for us

God has wade a way

Because of Jesus Christ

We’ll have a reunion someday

So hold onto this promise

Lest we never meet again

If our paths never cross

I’ll see you in heaven
